A bit tired, but try to keep up

Well, today, I spent time 2 about 2 hours for sitting in Shelley's course and 2 hours for tutoring the tennis players.
Then I have felt a bit tired.
Therefore, because not being able to think my thesis then I just searched some refernces.
I love reading Borko's writing because I found from her writing the clarity of the ideas and also her writing was much about teacher's learning.

Giving me some ideas to question my study.

1. What are the implications of my my research findings for the uses of the Internet for teacher professional development.
2. What have I/we learnt from analysing, in depth and from several vantage points [theoretical frameworks/lenses], two cases of teachers, a LUI and a HUI teacher.

Remember Sitti the initial motivation that you want to investigate how this Internet might be used by teachers for their professional development, to enable them to improve their teaching qualities.

It is not a simple work as you find your self, benefited from the uses of the Internet for your professional development.

This is related to many aspects.

• Time. When teachers can use the Internet. They seemed to be very busy with many works, with many demands {exceptional in many school in my country]
• The nature of the nternet. How they can come to know the resources. They found the resources, but how then they decide which websites that they want to use for their learning.
• Another nature of the Internet, there is not quality control on the content. Eny body can put any staff there. They might spend too much time to find the appropriate resources. It is not a simple work
• It is really related to the teacher's knowledge and beliefs. We can see how Ann uses te Internet in order to engange her students in different ways. How she manage the classroom to enable to use the Internet to enrich the teaching. Also we can see jack, how his willingness to do it, but not working very well. He found the Internet activity as a distruption. This is related to time managements.

So Sitti, what you though before conducting this research, what you thought after collecting many data in Ann classroom, was different.

This situation gave you many challenges. This is leading you to think what is the meaning of all these regarding to the uses of the Internet for teacher professional development.

Therefore, in your thesis, you must indicate what then we learn from here and what areas that needing further research.

Sitti, you must also be well-knowledgable about the connection of your findings with the previous works. Previous researcher have done lots of work. They have conducting many investigation, where then all your finding connect with their findings.
here where the the literature reviews contributed a lot.

Therefore, it does make sense that the literature reviews role actually does not have to put before Chapter 2. Who make this rule. So the qyestions is how to put all this literatures.

But do not worry about it.

Just connect them with whatever you found interesting and what ever you think close realted to your finding.

I guess, this the good think of my research. It is situated in two different areas ot in the intersection of two ares, educational research and technological research.

While the technocracte promotes the power of the ICT and the educational researchers emphasise the importance of considering or understanding the teachers' learning.
