PD must be collaborative

A and B saw the impotance of collaboration in PD programs. The collaboration should be done by teachers and facilitators. Teachers should be ...... and facilitator should be .........
In many existing PD program, this characteristic was not an important factor, They often provide programs, then teachers must do what the requirements were. The relationship between teachers and facilitators often as an expert who have to pass their knowledge and students just act as required.

In several PD in which they found it beneficial, sometimes the inhibitor was the opportunity to continue colaboration with other teachers/educators. In this situation, Internet has been emerger and it is promoted as a useful tool to enable the collaboration braodly. With the Internet, they are able to collaborate with teachers from other countries or any expert from anywhere.

Several types of online PD that meet this criteria has been presented by CD, the program that enhancing the collaboration or rely on the collaboration.

An important question here is, how this research address this issue?
The case of Ann reflected how a teacher was able to enhance her learning through collaboration with students, expert and other teachers.

In conduncting my research, collaboration is one criteria that I took into consideration.The results demonstrates that the collaboration with Jack happened in two types, without using the Internet and with using the Internet. The first type for example are collaboration in terms of helping in the classroom with some routine in the classromm with students. And the uses of the Internet to achieve collaboration such as by using email and blog.
The intensity of collaboration could are different, that could be categorised, succeful (e.g. the case of table], not sure (not fully understand e.g. the investigation project) and challenging (discussing the online resources or implementing the uese of the Internet for learning).

There are some inhibitors such as time and beliefs. This factors will be disscussed in in more detail in the next section.

So what?

There are several aspect to achieve an effective collaboration, for example, it has to be mutual, paying attention to the principle of doing collaboration.
