INDONESIAN SCHOOLNET
In order to persuit the digital retard ness (digital divide) in ASEA, UNESCO countries, on December 2003 was held decidion makers level meeting in Bangkok. The meeting produces a commitment to increase the use of Information and Comunication Technology (ICT) in schools and conducting South East School Network. For that, a program was plan, "Strengthening ICT Use in School and South East Asia SchoolNet" This programs were held by UNESCO-Bangkok collaborating with eight (8) South East Asia Country; Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipnina, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The development of schoolnet in Indonesia has been implemented. We have three (3) schoolnet pilot project which are collaborated in www.e-dukasi.net www.e-dukasi.net is a learning websitewhich is created by Center of Information and Communication Technology for Education (PUSTEKKOM), National Education Department in Indonesia. This website is consisted of lesson materials and also become the place for educational practicioner (such as teachers, students and experts) to discuss about learning material and learning problems. Since the beginning of the indonesian schoolnet, there are some activities has been done. Such as, development of ICT Based-lessons and implementation of ICT within classes.And, they have also had a webschool each. www.smun1jkt.com, www.smunsabogor.com, and www.smansagres.com are the three indonesia schoolnet's website.Besides, the teacher in that schools have been joining in learning cycle.
